I just recently calibrated my monitor, and found out one of my previous graphic design had ugly stripes going out from the center on the background. Before the monitor was calibrated, I remember the background being pure black. Can someone with a professionally calibrated monitor help determine if my monitor needs adjusting? I’m editing photos from my wedding and all of them have more of a red tint to them then I would like. They were not shot with a warm filter, and were done by a pro.
I’m not sure if I need monitor calibration because the photos look fine in the thumbnail preview, but as soon as I get them into photoshop, it appears all of them need less red.
This is causing my prints to come out wrong..any advice?

just gotta pc it has ati radeon hd 4550 in it and i running it on 32 lcd hdtv and i think the picture looks off any ideas where i can get some free tools to calibrate it?

Access the display options menu by clicking the Start button on the taskbar and going to the Control Panel.
